All American Wrestling Camp System
About Us:
The All American Wrestling Camp System (AAWCS) serves wrestling
at all levels-elementary, junior high, high school, college,
and international. The AAWCS is designed to bring instruction
and drilling from the best clinicians around to your area
for beginning to advanced wrestlers. The camps will cover
techniques and drills that have helped the AAWCS clinicians
succeed throughout their wrestling careers. The techniques
and drills will cover from the feet, top, and bottom positions.
The system will also incorporate some live wrestling to allow
the campers to use some of the technique that each camper
has learned in a competition situation. Camp participants
will learn in a fun atmosphere under the direction of our
experienced staff. The clinic is intended for boys and girls
ranging from 1st graders to seniors in high school.
The system and website www.summerwrestlingcamps.com is based
on the section of the website called “Design A Camp.” “Design
A Camp” is devoted to the coach or wrestler that wants to
get better but does not have the resources to travel to far
off destinations for wrestling camp. “Design A Camp” is set
up so you can bring the “Best Camp” to your town or area.
In this section you have the opportunity to choose the AAWCS
clinicians that you want to have at the camp, the camp date,
number of camp days, and the location of the camp. “Design
A Camp” presents you with a variety of available choices for
clinicians to suit your individual camp needs. With over 75
different combinations of clinicians, you are sure to match
your wrestling needs with various instructors. As you take
your time to search the website, click on the AAWCS biographies
of each clinician to see the complete information on these
highly qualified instructors. All instructors have years of
camp experience and are very qualified at the college and/or
international levels. Designing your camp offers a chance
to design your next individual and team champions.
Description of the Summer Camp System & Training Program:
For the first time, the All American Wrestling Camp System
(AAWCS) is going to offer winter and summer wrestling camps
around the United States. Although special requests or circumstances
can be worked out through the contact person, Coach Todd Beckerman,
the basic format of the camps will be as follows:

club programs, or a combination of several schools or clubs
in one particular region.
Who will be conducting the camps:

State Champions, and Elite Wrestlers (collegiate and international
athletes) will conduct the camps. Current camp coaches and
top wrestlers include:

Todd Beckerman -2x NCAA All-American

You can find the complete information of all AAWCS clinicians
in the BIOS section.
Not all coaches and wrestlers will be available for every
camp, subject to their summer training camps and international
competitions. Other college wrestlers and elite high school
coaches will be at every camp.
Duration and session times:
These camps will be commuter camps and will be available to
high schools, junior high, elementary, club programs, and
any combinations of the above. We have found through years
of camp research these time to work for our system. An average
day would be a session from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., lunch
from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. (lunch not provided unless specified
otherwise), and a session from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. If necessary,
different times can be arranged.
Promotion and setup:
The All American Wrestling Camp System clinicians, coaches,
and wrestlers who conduct the camp will be responsible for
teaching, conducting sessions, promotion of the camp on the
website, and camp insurance for AAWCS clinicians only. Promotion
of the camp, setup of the mats, obtaining of camp liability
insurance, registration, taking of daily attendance, housing
for Coaches and Wrestlers (camp staff), and lunch for the
campers (or have campers bring own lunch) will be the responsibility
of the club or group that hires the AAWCS to conduct the camp.
Cost:
In addition to providing a quality commuter camp with teaching
from some of the finest coaches and wrestlers in the world,
these camps can also be used as a fundraiser for your program.
The cost of the camp depends on the number of AAWCS clinicians
you would like to hire for the camp, location, and total number
of camp days. This will be worked out once the “Design A Camp”
form is all completed. The final costs and splits will be
worked out with the camp coordinator.
Contact Person:
AAWCS Coordinator Todd Beckerman is the contact person for
setting up the camps. His e-mail address is todd@summerwrestlingcamps.com
and his phone number is 301-261-6159.
